We are also undertaking a new focus on accountability to measure progress toward achieving our mission and vision to:

• Reduce Maryland citizens' exposure to hazards
• Ensure the safety of fish and shellfish harvested in Maryland
• Improve and protecting Maryland’s water quality
• Ensure the air is safe to breathe
