How do I take advantage of the EmPower Utility Rebates?

Start by going to the Energy Savers for businesses page of your utility company's website. There you will find a list of contractors that can perform audits on lighting fixtures and controls, assist with the rebate application process and even offer financing. Rebates are also available for HVAC and other equipment. Small businesses may need to use pre-approved contractors for maximum benefits.  For more information, visit your utilty’s  website: BGE, Delmarva Power, Pepco, Potomac Edison, SMECO, and Washington Gas.

Let us hear from you!

If your facility has already taken advantage of the rebate program or if you have a project in progress, let us know by e-mailing by June 13, 2016 and feel free to share kWh and dollar savings too so that we can add up the total energy and costs savings acheived by Maryland Green Registry members.

Your company's name will be entered into a prize drawing at the Maryland Green Registry Awards Event on June 14, 2016 that includes Maryland Green Registry  products and services, gift cards from BGE, and digital light meters (each a $45 value) with a guide to recommended light levels, which can be useful for those lighting upgrade projects!
