Volunteer Enforcement Corps Training

The members of the Volunteer Enforcement Corps will be given training for the tasks that MDE is asking them to complete.  In addition to the training involved in the volunteer orientation meetings, monthly educational programs will be offered to keep members of the Volunteer Enforcement Corps current on the methods being used to conduct audits, and to educate the volunteers on issues relevant to their tasks.

MDE is working to bring experts from the community to lecture on topics related to nonpoint source and sediment pollution to supplement MDE’s own in-house education programs.

Note:  As of April 2014, VEC has been replaced by the MDE Volunteer Corps and Internship Program.
