Permit Application Database Search

Welcome to MDE's permit application search site. You may search applications of interest using the search function below.

Search results will provide you with a project name, address, activity and permit type, hearing information, and other company information. Should you have any questions related to the projects listed as a result of your search, please contact the MDE staff listed for that particular permit application. You may also request to be added to the interest list on any project of interest.

During the 2009 legislative session, Senate Bill 47 modified Section 1-602 of the Environment Article requiring the Maryland Department of the Environment to electronically post on the Department's website notice of specific permit applications and to provide a method for the public to electronically request information.

The form on this page searches only for information related to the types of permit applications listed in 1-601(a) of the Environment Article. This database can be used to find out what activities are being permitted near you and what you need to do to be involved in the public participation process.

The Department provides additional online search capabilities for other permits/approvals within the different media types (Lead Paint Contractors, Lead Paint Inspectors, Animal Feeding Operations Permits, and Wastewater Permits).
