General Permit For Discharges from Swimming Pools & Spas​
Maryland General Permit No. 17-SI

 ​NOTICE - Permit Issued (effective December 1, 2022) ​​​

The Department has issued the final renewal permit for the General Permit for Discharges ​from Swimming Pools and Spas, effective December 1, 2022.  The Department held a public hearing on August 3, 2022 and offered the opportunity to submit comments until August 10, 2022.  The Department has composed a response to all comments received and prepared a final determination for the renewal permit.  Notice of the final determination will be published in the Maryland Register and in newspapers across the State on or around November 4, 2022.  Information regarding the final determination is presented on this page below:
