BALTIMORE, MD (August 18, 2005) -- The Chesapeake Bay Watershed Restoration Fund Advisory Committee will hold its next meeting this coming Wednesday, Aug. 31 at 1 p.m. in the Aeris and Aqua Conference Rooms at the Maryland Department of the Environment (MDE) headquarters, located at 1800 Washington Boulevard in Baltimore.

The committee advises the secretary of the environment on issues related to the Bay Restoration Fund, the landmark environmental legislation proposed by Governor Ehrlich and enacted by the General Assembly.

Among agenda items to be discussed that day are an update on fees collected to date, a presentation on the cover crops portion of the program and discussion of the January 2006 Interim Progress Report.
