BALTIMORE, MD (April 10, 2012)
- The Maryland Green Registry is now accepting applications for the 2012 annual Maryland Green Registry Leadership Awards. Interested organizations should submit a statement highlighting one or more of the environmental projects or practices described in their online member profile and the results the project achieved. The Registry is a free program that assists businesses and other organizations by promoting and recognizing their sustainable practices. Collectively, Registry members have saved over $65 million annually through their sustainable practices.

The awards are marked annually with an evening event gathering the winners, nominees and Registry members.  This year, Lieutenant Governor Anthony G. Brown will attend the June 5 event and deliver welcoming remarks.
