Final TMDLs Approved by EPA: Port Tobacco River

The Port Tobacco River, a tributary of the Potomac River, is located in Charles County, Maryland. The River is approximately 8.5 miles in length.  The Port Tobacco River (02140109) was first identified on the 1996 303(d) list submitted to EPA by the Maryland Department of the Environment. It was listed as being impaired by nutrients. The document available below establishes TMDLs for the nutrients nitrogen and phosphorus in the Port Tobacco River.
