Maryland’s Searchable Integrated Report Database [Combined 303(d)/305(b) List]

It is important to consider water quality and TMDL status when renewing/developing environmental permits and conducting land use planning. To make water quality information more readily available to interested stakeholders, Maryland is now providing on-line access and a user defined query of the State’s Integrated Report. MDE hopes that by providing such information, municipalities, county governments, researchers/academia, volunteer monitoring groups, private industry, and interested citizens will consider water quality when setting local priorities, implementing best management practices, conducting research projects, developing watershed plans, and formulating master plans and zoning initiatives.

MDE recommends using the "Clickable Map" or searching the database by the "Basin Code" rather than searching the "Basin Name" as the basin naming conventions have changed due to new assessment unit boundaries (see textbox below).

Database records will be searched using the options selected. The search will return only those records that satisfy all of the selected options. Clicking "Search" or “Create Excel” without selecting any options will return all records in the database. Note: Clicking “Search” will reload the current page and append the results from the query to the bottom of the page. The other option, clicking “Create Excel”, will provide the user with the choice to either open or save an Excel spreadsheet containing the results of the query as a Microsoft Excel document.

The Basin Name is not always a reliable search parameter for basins containing tidal waters. We recommend searching based on the clickable map or Basin Code instead.

* The basin names have changed. For all tidal portions and tributaries of the Chesapeake Bay, the basin names reflect the new Chesapeake Bay salinity segmentation scheme. These basin names are now signified by an acronym symbolizing the segment and the salinity regime (e.g., the tidal portion of the Magothy River is now MAGMH - Magothy River Mesohaline).


This database is updated periodically. The last update occurred after the approval of the 2012 Integrated Report on November 9, 2012.
