Watershed Implementation Plans (WIPs)

Watershed Implementation Plans (WIPs)

What are WIPs?

Watershed Implementation Plans (WIPs) document the steps, measures, and practices Maryland and its local jurisdictions will take and implement to achieve and maintain the final Chesapeake Bay TMDL by the year 2025.

Maryland's WIPs are in three distinct phases: Phase I (2010); Phase II (Update of Phase I adopted in 2012); Phase III (2019). Phase I and Phase II WIPs can be found in the links below. Additionally, information for local jurisdiction’s WIPs can be found under "Local Plans".

Maryland's Phase III WIP is currently in development and will be completed in 2019.
